Dawa Jangmu Sherpa is a sweet and energetic 7-year-old girl currently in Class 2 at Melamchi Ghyang School in Nepal. She lives with her parents, two brothers, and one sister in the rural village of Tasithang, nestled in the Helambu region.

Her parents work as subsistence farmers, doing their best to provide for their children in a setting where access to resources and educational support is limited. Despite these hardships, Dawa comes to school each day with a bright smile and a willingness to learn.
