You're Invited!

Women and girls can change entire societies when first given the opportunity to shape their own lives. Education is the foundation that sets the course. In Nepal, women are at the core of society. They organize household activities and are a child’s first teacher; they must be knowledgeable, patient, and confident. Yet only 44.5% of women in Nepal are literate. Annually, we will seek to award one applicant funds toward an educational objective–a grant to achieve her “Anything is Possible” goal or dream. As a climbing team, we will raise awareness, and funds, and provide expertise for the candidate to bring her dream to life. 

To bring awareness we have partnered with Tsering's Fund, a non-profit on a mission to change the lives of young women in Nepal through education. We will be featuring their newest documentary, "Helambu." It will be an interesting, moving, and inspiring evening. This beautiful film highlights the culture of the ethnic Hyolmo people living in the Helambu Region of northern Nepal as well as how the history of early arranged marriage and trafficking has plagued young girls from the region for generations.
